Impact

From clubs to corporations, ClubsHelp is making an impact in local communities across the county. Whether in a crisis, such as COVID, or in times of natural or personal disaster, ClubsHelp is poised to support.

Clubs and their members designate the local cause or charity.

Proceeds raised by the club’s special event are directed to the club’s designated charity. When appropriate, ClubsHelp may supplement the donation.

Contributions are fully tax-deductible when events are run through the ClubsHelp Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Case studies

“The idea to support the greater community was first generated by our members, who consistently and generously help others,” said Damon DiOrio, CEO, Desert Mountain Club. “And of course, when Jack Nicklaus added his challenge, Desert Mountain was ready to help.”

Seminole Golf Club and Jupiter Medical Center.

Through the support of ClubsHelp, Jupiter Medical Center was “adopted” by the Seminole Golf Club, whose members stepped up collectively, raising more than $365,000 for Jupiter Medical Center Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. Monies raised will be used to continue preventative measures to screen, isolate and treat suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients while protecting health care workers, their families and other patients, as well as to purchase more medical equipment that addresses the hospital’s highest priority needs.

CLIF Bar & Company.

From the early days of ClubsHelp, CLIF Bar stepped to the forefront to support first responders, emergency and hospital workers. Donations of energy bars and snacks were donated to sustain and reinforce these brave individuals, and to date nearly 14,000 bars have been distributed by partner clubs.

Desert Mountain Club.

Since Nicklaus’ challenge, which aligned with a grass roots member-driven initiative, Desert Mountain raised nearly $60,000 over the course of eight weeks to supply 3,550 meals to employees and their families, hospital staff and frontline responders. Through member generosity and collective energies healthy, balanced meals were provided to three local hospitals: The Mayo Clinic, HonorHealth, and Banner Health, as well as the first responders of the Scottsdale Police Department and Scottsdale Fire Department.
